City Holiday - City Offices Closed/No Sanitation Collection
In observance of Memorial Day, May 27, 2019, city offices will be closed and there will be no sanitation collection. There will be city wide sanitation collection on Tuesday, May 28, 2019.
2019 Season Pass Now Available
Southside Place citizens may apply to the city for a Season Pass. A Season Pass costs $450 annually per family. A season pass fee for Over 65 year old residents is $250 in 2019. Season Pass holder families in good standing get expanded access to the Southside Place Park and recreation facilities (tennis courts and pool) and discounts on rentals of the clubhouse, pool, and pavilion. The City will issue magnetic identification cards to Season Pass holders, which are required to gain free entry into the pool area and authorized entry to the tennis courts. Follow the link below to apply for a Season Pass online or print the application provided below and deliver the payment to City Hall. Season Passes are good for the calendar year 2019 (January - December), not a year from the date of purchase.

2019 Summer Camp and Swim Team Registration Now Open

Mosquito Prevention Spraying Has Begun
The city began the annual mosquito prevention spraying on April 2, 2019. Spraying will occur weekly on Monday evenings after 10PM. If you have any questions or concerns please contact City hall during business hours.
Poor Farm ditch and City Drainage Grant Submittal News
Southside Place has submitted over $8 Million in residential infrastructure drainage grants to the Texas Department of Emergency Management and Harris County. The Harris County Flood Control District has submitted an $18 Million grant for Poor Farm Ditch reconstruction. Southside Place drainage grants include an Auden and Edloe drainage system to Bellaire Blvd. A new Harper drainage system is also proposed. Grant funding decisions will occur in mid 2019.
2018 Tax Bill Mailout
All tax bills have been mailed. The Over 65 exemption is $185,000. "Homestead Exemptions Not Available" are printed on all residential bills. The average appraised home value in Southside Place is $1,419,579.
